LORD OF THE WIND 2017 EVENT AND RACING SCHEDULE
Tues. Jan. 17
3:00 – 6:00 PM REGISTRATION at Vagos Bar & Joe’s Pizzeria located at Plaza de Puebla
Intersection of main entrance road (water fountain with barrels) to Los Barriles and Highway 1.
6:00 PM until you go home -Great food and drinks and live entertainment!
Wed. Jan. 18
11:00 AM Racing begins with HYDROFOIL Course Racing
2:30 PM Boarder-cross/Slalom Races. These races are set-up similar to the Youth Olympic Game events being held in 2018.
6:00 PM the 3rd Annual Tamale cook-off at the cancha on the main street.
The kid’s will be there to perform traditional dances. All the proceeds go to support a local school.
Thur. Jan. 19
11:00 AM Hydrofoil Course Racing
2:30 PM Boarder-cross/Slalom Races.
Freestyle and Freestyle Strapless (This means without straps on the board and not what you wear with an evening gown). This is the spinney, twisty, turny, how did they do that, event.
6:00 PM Smokey’s another great venue for great food, drinks and live music.

11:00 AM Hydrofoil course Racing
2:30 PM Boarder-cross/Slalom Races
Big Air on Hydrofoils and Big Air on every other type of board.
Now we will be able to see if the hydrofoils can really out jump the other boards.
AUCTION NIGHT
5:00 PM Spa Buena Vista Beach Resort – show up to preview the auction items and have one of the tastiest margaritas around.
6:00 PM Dinner
7:00 PM Auction - silent and live
9:00 PM Live Music AJINO MOTO

11:00 AM Hydrofoil racing
2:30 PM Boarder-cross/Slalom Races
Freestyle FINAL Freestyle Strapless FINAL
5:00 to 7:00 PM Beer Pong at El Gecko
7:00 PM El Gecko beach party and dinner, with fire dancing

11:00 AM Boarder-cross/Slalom Race FINALS
2:00 PM Big Air FINALS Big Air Hydrofoils FINALS
6:00 PM Awards Banquet Palmas de Cortez
NO TICKET SALES AT THE DOOR. Last time you can buy tickets is Saturday night.
