Our Annual Fundraiser

Our Annual "Taste of East Cape" event is our flagship fundraiser program.

About 20 local restaurants provide "tastes" to event participants. Attendees then vote for their favorite "taste" and awards are handed to the winners. Plaques are proudly displayed in the restaurants.

In addition the event offers:

No-host fully equipped bar benefitting East Cape Health Center
Entertainment
Silent Auction

Since it's inception, each year the event has been expanded and sold out. Last year, we sold 300 tickets.

All funds raised are used to help the communities of East Cape with projects involving sanitation, education, clean water, cultural events and improvements to public facilities (in cooperation with local governments).
