JOIN US TO HONOR PAST PRESIDENT JEAN’E HARKLEROAD / ÚNASE A NOSOTROS PARA HONRAR EL PRESIDENTE PASADO JEAN’E HARKLEROAD

As the 2018-2019 Rotary year draws to a close and with many Rotarians heading home, it's time to recognize and honor Jean’e’s term as Rotary President and the hard work of her Board of Directors, as well as extending a welcome to my new Board of Directors for the 2019-2020 year. You, your significant other, as well as friends and supporters of Rotary are invited to come together at 5:30 pm April 17th, at La Playa Restaurant to honor Jean'e's leadership. When the Club was in need of leadership and direction, in spite working a full-time job, Jean'e stepped up and putting service above self, was able to make 2018-2019 another memorable year. Jean'e and her Board's accomplishments were many, such as, improvements to the library and relocation of the technology center, much needed medical equipment for the medical clinic, health screening for hundreds of children, 2 highly successful fundraisers, approval of EMT training for two, and updating and moving the tech center to the library to name just a few. This meeting is one of the most important, as it will be the last get-together of the year, so if possible, please come and thank Jean'e and wish the new Board good luck for next year. A medida que se acerca el final del año rotario 2018-2019 y con muchos rotarios en camino a casa, es hora de reconocer y honrar el mandato de Jean'e como Presidente de Rotary y el arduo trabajo de su Junta Directiva, así como dar una bienvenida a mi nuevo Consejo de Administración para el año 2019-2020. Usted, su pareja, así como amigos y simpatizantes de Rotary están invitados a reunirse a las 5:30 pm del 17 de abril, en el restaurante La Playa para honrar el liderazgo de Jean'e. Cuando el Club necesitaba liderazgo y dirección, a pesar de tener un trabajo de tiempo completo, Jean'e dio un paso adelante y puso el servicio por encima de sí mismo, pudo hacer de 2018-2019 otro año memorable. Jean'e y los logros de su Junta fueron muchos, como mejoras en la biblioteca y reubicación del centro tecnológico, equipos médicos muy necesarios para la clínica médica, exámenes de salud para cientos de niños, 2 eventos para recaudar fondos altamente exitosos y aprobación de la capacitación EMT para dos, actualizando y moviendo el centro tecnológico a la biblioteca para nombrar unos pocos. Esta reunión es una de las más importantes, ya que será la última reunión del año, así que si es posible, venga y agradezca a Jean'e y le deseamos buena suerte a la nueva Junta para el próximo año.
